READING SUPPORT

Uplift Literacy provides free, evidence- and data-based reading interventions during the school day for students in underserved communities who are identified as reading below grade level. Our effective and engaging programs are designed to equip children in grades K-3 with the necessary literacy skills to become proficient readers. Our motivating tutors, in collaboration with teachers, identify target areas for improvement and work with children in the critical components of reading (phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary development, reading fluency, and reading comprehension) to improve academic performance across all subject areas.
